Chance has been focused on unlocking the value from data his entire career. At Blacklight Solutions he is focused on transforming the way organizations work with their data and how they use it to create value for their products and teams. For the past 15 years he has been engaged as a consultant with the Fortune 50 in the United States as well as internationally by some of the most successful organizations in the world. He is the inventor of Data Current (Patent Pending), a new technology that assists organizations in finding the right data for decisions from foreign and even unstructured data sources. Chance was Senior Scientist for Ideal Innovations, an award-winning inventions company where he conducted R&D for clients such as the the United States DoD as well as foreign governments producing real-world solutions that are currently used around the globe. Chance has a B.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin as well as an M.S. in Biomedical Informatics from The University of Texas at Houston.

Jonathon has spent his career helping organizations unlock insight and opportunity from complex data. As a Principal Consultant at Blacklight Solutions, he partners with enterprises to modernize how they manage, understand, and operationalize data across teams and technologies. Over the past decade, Jonathon has founded and led data-driven startups, advised Fortune 500 companies, and guided global organizations through AI and product transformation initiatives. He was co-founder and CEO of Yonder (acquired), a pioneer in narrative intelligence, and later led product at Primer after the acquisition. His experience spans enterprise AI, social impact, fintech, and data infrastructure — from architecting crisis-mapping tools for NGOs to shaping data strategies for agribusiness exporters in Latin America. Jonathon holds a reputation for connecting big ideas to executable strategies and bringing together cross-functional teams to deliver systems that scale.
