We are looking for an exceptional Sales Director to join our team in Austin, TX. Blacklight Solutions uses great technologies to help companies do more for their customers and to better run their businesses. Our customer driven culture includes consulting with our prospects throughout the sales process to find the right solution for them. We require an articulate, creative and motivated sales director in order to make that process work. We are after customer success, not just closed deals. We will fill this position with a candidate that is deeply committed to understanding customer needs and applying our capabilities to meet them.
Job duties include
- Define and execute territory / account sales plans for assigned geographic territory and then meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities within the assigned region.
- Develop and actively manage your sales pipeline and prospects by moving a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
- Manage and track customer and transactional information in a CRM system.
- Provide management with accurate forecast projects of the activity of your pipeline and sales / services opportunities.
- Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and product consultants, etc.
- Provide timely and accurate business forecasts to sales and executive management
- Manage direct and channel partner business
- Provide the initial product and services overview discussions to qualify potential customers
- Nurture and expand the company’s relationship with customer accounts of all sizes.
- Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and our ever-changing products.
- Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and supporting global team members.
- Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategy sessions, sales training, marketing efforts, and customer experience programs.
- Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Minimum of 8 years in software sales role
- International experience a plus
- BS/BA preferred
